CCCNMO provides short-term and long-term recovery services to individuals and families dealing with the aftermath of natural disasters like tornadoes, floods, and other catastrophes. Catholic Charities responds both immediately and for the long haul, helping survivors get back on their feet.

Services: Community outreach social services intake, referral and follow-up; emergency utility assistance for low-income families; weatherization services (utility assistance and weatherization both subject to availability of funds and program guidelines); Family Resource Program of in-home case management including parenting skills, budgeting nutrition, employment counseling, housing assessment, and life skills; parenting workshops

Services: Provide education, advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling, and other direct services for deaf, hard of hearing, deaf/blind, and late-deafened individuals and families; Missouri Crisis Hotline/Text Line; Deaf Crisis Videophone Hotline, sign language classes for all ages; deaf culture training to agencies; Teen Institute (camp for deaf and hard of hearing youth) teaches alcohol and drug abuse prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, and other issues facing youth; free counseling for hearing and deaf individuals and their families who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, rape, incest and child abuse, free 24-hour crisis interpreting for Deaf victims of crime.

Eligibility: Families currently on any type of public assistance (TANF, food stamps, etc) are eligible. Families are self-declaration- no proof is needed. Fee: None
